Saphiro is @ an 18 month old Rottweiler mix puppy who has been looking for her forever home! Saphiro along with 3 other litter mates were found dumped on a country road when they were only weeks old- a good Samaritan picked them up and contacted us.
It is believed that she is Rottweiler and some sort of Collie mix as she has beautiful soft, fluffy coat!
She is a TRUE water dog and absolutely loves to play in the water! She is full of energy and gets a kick out of playing with everyone! She does wonderful with every dog she has met. She adores children. Saphiro would be the perfect first time dog for any family!

Madison is another victim of Hurricane Katrina. Yes, she does notice that she has a full tail and thinks it's beautiful! Don't you? It seems to be the style these days as tails aren't being docked anymore in other countries! Even Rottweilers with tails are being allowed to be shown in Dog shows now!
Are you a jogger or an active person? Then Madison is for you! She is very active and just loves to fetch the tennis ball. She is not for those who wish to remain couch potatoes! She loves to run and play so maybe even a family with older children who are active! They could just tire each other out!
Madison is approx 2 1/2 yrs old and gets along with every male she meets but does like being the dominant female when she meets other females. She does enjoy her position as Alpha dog.

When I came into rescue at 7 weeks of age I was full of parasites and was losing my hair in places due to mange. As you can see I am all better now. My brother and Dad came in with me. My brother had an extension cord wrapped around his neck and dragging a chain on his back leg. His leg was broken in 3 places along with his jaw. Fortunately for him my foster parents and the vet saw to it that he got the medical attention that he needed. After 2 surgeries his leg was repaired and I am so happy that he has already gotten adopted. I hope my turn is next!

Hello....my name is Lizzie short for Elizabeth because I am a half
masked Saint Bernard and it reminded my foster parents of Phantom of
the Opera and they somehow came up with a Victorian name. Go Figure.
I love to be with humans and I get along with other dogs.

When you first meet me I will be a little shy and timid however once I
get to know you then you are my best friend. Tennis balls are my
favorite or just about anything you want to throw and me got fetch.
Water is my other favorite and of course having TLC from the humans.
My best animal friend is Madison, a female rottweiler that you can also
see on this website. She and I share our food and toys together.

Pistol is just that- a little pistol- he just loves to play and as with any dog especially a young male, further obedience training is always recommend and NEEDED. Pistol is a typical teenage boy and does tend to be the Alpha dog when it comes to being with other dogs. He would do best in a home with a female rather than another male even though he does tend to get along with both the males and females he is currently residing with. Pistol was found as a stray with his brother Magnum and both are looking for that perfect home to call their forever!

Dakota, female Husky mix, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, HW- and on preventative.

She is @ 2 years old and gets along with other females and males. Her mother was a Red Husky. Dakota and her siblings were taken from their owner when the Humane Society arrived and found a Saint Bernard badly neglected (Nova's story is on our website www.furryfriendzy.org). Dakota has one blue and one brown eye. She has a cream colored thick coat with a light hint of red running down her back. Dakota is currently with two male rotts (much larger than herself) and a female rotty/border collie mix. She would love to be in her furever home soon.

Princess is @ 3 year old rottweiler, spayed, HW-, on preventative, microchipped and current on vaccines.

Princess is just that...a Princess. She was found tied at the end of a chain with no food/water in the hot summer along with Shelby, a female Saint Bernard. Both had been used for breeding and the police found AKC papers in the abandoned home. Although they had both been neglected they are now back to health and Princess just loves to be with humans and receive lots of TLC. She also gets along with other dogs both male and female. She has a gentle spirit and needs someone as much as they need her.
